Sunday School- General Information

Preschool aged children will be taught basic bible stories from the Beginners Story Bible.  Students will also participate in activities and make crafts that reinforce the message of those bible stories.

Children in Kindergarten to 5th grade will be taught using the 252 BASICS curriculum.  Based on Luke 2:52, 252 Basics utilizes Bible stories, a core virtue, and a memory verse each month while offering engaging presentations to equips kids from kindergarten through fifth grade with the 3 basic truths modeled by Jesus in Luke 2:52:

> I need to make the wise choice.

> I can trust God no matter what.

> I should treat others the way I want to be treated.

Why virtues? Because they display God’s character. And when we live them out, not only do we understand His heart more, so do the people around us.

“…and Jesus grew in wisdom and stature and favor with God and man.”  Luke 2:52

Students in 6th grade will be taught using the Preteen Grapple curriculum.  Grapple preteen Sunday school curriculum answers tough preteen questions and helps children discover the power of a growing faith in Jesus.

Junior High Students will be taught using the Junior High Live Curriculum.  This cohesive, two-year curriculum has lessons that flow from one topic to the next, and the second year builds on the themes and truths introduced in the first year.  All the lessons reflect solid biblical foundations and a commitment to hands-on, interactive learning styles that church leaders expect from Group and Simply Youth Ministry. We’ve packed each series with questions that will get students discussing, debating, examining, and thinking for themselves—essential skills in helping them own their faith.

High School Students will be taught using the Senior High Live Curriculum.  Live is a four year curriculum where each year builds upon the last.  These  lessons will guide your students through essential topics and truths for surviving and thriving during the high school years.
