Wednesday Night Programs

Oh my! Things are changing for Wednesday Nights. Wednesday night suppers are over but youth programs will keep going as long as there is interest.

Wednesdays Nights:

J- Club for Junior High students in the TWC- fun, fellowship and Christian studies packed into an hour between 6:30 and 7:30. We will continue this program as long as there is student interest and adult leaders, through the end of May.
Tough Topics for Senior High students- Christian views on real life questions and day to day life. Tough Topics will run through April, possibly through May if students want to continue.
LGD- will be studying ways to strengthen and share their faith and will also continue as long as there is interest.
Senior High 
In April, Sunday evening Senior High meetings will only be on the 15th and the 29th.
 
   Upcoming events: 

Dare 2 Share Ministries Conference; April 13th and 14th at the Sears Center in Chicago. This is an overnight conference on Faith and Evangelism. We will stay Friday night at a local church and return Sunday morning, very early. We will leave on Friday at 11am so some school will be missed. Senior High: Finally a Broom Ball event, no not in April, Sat. May 5th. Time TBA. Save the date!
Our "La Nueva" Community Dinner will be the Sunday on April 15th. 
Junior High
Reverb Olympics: April 20th at North Middle School we will hold Games, have a speaker and play with duct tape. It don't get any better than that!  More information and Transportation Permission 
Fundraiser:  Easter is around the corner and the Big Group will be decorating the Sanctuary with flowers again this year.  Please click here for an order form.
 
 
REVERB - Junior High

Meets 7:00 AM Tuesday mornings at North Rockford Middle School in the gymnasium, and at 7:00 AM Thursday mornings at the East Rockford Middle School in the Blue Room.

The following programs happen during the school year.

 

J-Club (Junior High) - meets Wednesday nights 6:30–7:30 PM in the Teen Worship Center

  • Just about as much Fun, Fellowship and Christian studies that can be packed into a single hour!
     
     Senior High Sunday Nights - meets Sunday nights 6:00-8:00 PM in the Teen Worship Center
    • Students will enjoy a rotation of activities that include worship, study, service and even watching uplifting movies.



    Tough Topics (Senior High) - meets Wednesday nights, 6:30 - 7:30 PM in the Wesley Room
    • Christian views on real life questions and day-to-day life. 

     

    Senior High LGD - meets Wednesday nights, 6:30 - 7:30 PM in Room 200

    • Helping your senior high student deepen their faith with engaging, video driven Bible studies.

     

     
    Senior High Girls - Meets Tuesday evenings, 6:30 - 8:00 PM in the Teen Worship Center
    • This group of high school girls meets each week for a Bible Study  and various service projects in the church and community.  Contact Pam Lindemer or Karrie Thomason for more information.

    GRASP

    • Grand Rapids Area Service Project is a Jr. High Youth group mission trip every summer.   They attend for 5 days of work with chaperons.   Look for more information after Christmas!
